Repertoire

REPERTOIRE Plurale Tantum has a rather varied repertoire. Some main themes can be found in the choir’s repertoire that show the enormous diversity. These themes can be subdivided in, amongst others: old polyphonic music, Scandinavian songs, Russian music (e.g. Vespers by Rachmaninov), Romantic Period, Modern music and Close Harmony. The songs vary from four to eight voices and are mostly sung a capella. The choir are always looking for new musical challenges which can be seen in the repertoire. Besides national and international concerts and competitions, Plurale Tantum brighten masses and celebrations with their music, which has been asked by various congregations like the Parish of Jeruzalem in Breda and the Protestant congregation Breda-Centre.
